We worked in conjunction with a local mental health facility in our neighborhood to honor a former director of the facility. This garden was designed as a therapeutic space for patients and staff to use during their treatment processes. Curving, decomposed granite and concrete pathways accented with masonry seat walls lead you through this garden and allow exploration of the landscape and seating areas. A custom-built hip roof structure provides a shady meeting space accompanied by a small bubbler water feature and a specialty arched beam and rafter pergola accent a raised bed veggie garden area.
