This beautiful home on the Pend Oreille river was given a complete makeover by our design and construction teams. Poured-in-place concrete and steel retaining walls, masonry walls and angular sand wash concrete patio, stair systems and walkways provide the infrastructure while two custom built pergolas, a pre-fabricated fire pit and a large, custom-built outdoor kitchen and countertop area provide gathering and entertainment areas for this summer retreat. A large lawn area for games and play are complemented by a simple but striking plant palette consisting of Karl Foerster grasses, lavender, trailing vinca, and multiple specimen Japanese Maples. An extensive low voltage lighting system was also installed featuring, wall wash, step, and path lights, as well as a bistro light system under the main pergola.
