Form meets function in this driveway, entry and entertaining area makeover. New pavers and concrete replaced an old asphalt driveway that leads to an expanded parking area atop a custom-built concrete storage area. Floating wood steps and wood cladding/privacy panels provide a beautiful contrast to the new basalt-rock-filled gabion basket retaining walls, cut basalt step system and basalt bubbler water feature. We also installed a sand wash concrete patio area with matching concrete fire pit and bistro lighting above to create a beautiful entertaining area with a tree house feel.
